Markets, languages and timezones
Tell outwrite.ai who you want to reach and when to schedule work.
These settings answer three different questions. Keeping them separate makes your research and reporting more useful.
Primary search market
Choose the country or supported market where your intended buyers search. This controls the geographic context for available search research and visibility measurements. It is not necessarily where your company is incorporated or where you are sitting.
A business in the UK selling mainly to US buyers should choose the US if that is the audience it wants to measure. The selector is searchable and shows supported choices. Not every measurement surface supports every market or language combination.
Language
Choose the language your audience uses. It informs the research context, generated content and supported visibility queries. A country and a language are not interchangeable: two businesses targeting the same country may serve different language audiences.
Check the actual coverage labels in Results. An unavailable measurement is shown as unavailable, not silently replaced with an unrelated country's result.
Scheduling timezone
The timezone determines how dates and publishing times appear in your plan. It follows local daylight-saving rules where applicable. Use the timezone in which you want to manage your editorial schedule.
Changing timezone or publishing pace does not automatically move existing articles. Review already scheduled dates if you want to change them.
Changing your audience later
Update your business context in Brand and your schedule in Plan. A material audience change can require new research and a new comparable baseline. Historical results remain historical; results from different markets should not be presented as one continuous improvement trend.
User-added prompts belong to their saved market context. After changing markets, review the prompt library and add the prompts you want checked for the new audience.
Businesses serving several markets
Choose a primary audience for the workspace's plan and baseline. Worldwide Search Console country data is shown separately from your selected-market performance. It is useful context, but it does not mean every AI market is being tracked.
