Connect your AI assistant
Work with outwrite.ai from an assistant you already use.
The outwrite.ai MCP server lets a compatible assistant read your workspace and perform the actions you authorize. You do not need to create or host a separate server.
Connect in three steps
- Open AI connections in your workspace and copy Your MCP server URL.
- Add that URL as a remote MCP connection in your assistant.
- Follow the authorization flow, choose your workspace and grant the permissions you want.
Use the URL shown in your workspace. Staging and production are separate environments; a staging connection does not grant access to production.
Start with read access
Ask for a briefing: “Show me what is planned next and what our latest visibility results say.”
Then try a specific question: “Which saved prompts recommend competitors but not us?” The assistant should read the actual answer evidence and preserve its observation date.
Add management permissions when useful
You can authorize plan changes, article preparation and edits, Brand changes or automation controls. Publishing requires a separate permission and still follows the article's checks and saved policy.
An assistant should distinguish previewing a change from applying it, and queuing work from completing it.
What remains private
The connection is bound to your selected workspace and scopes. It does not expose other customers, arbitrary database access or your stored integration credentials.
Revoke a connection in AI connections if you no longer use it. Your assistant's own conversation history is managed by that assistant.
