Connect Wix
Connect Wix Blog, choose an author and deliver articles with covers.
Connect Wix Blog to deliver articles directly, with a cover image and an author from your site. You need Wix Blog installed and a Wix account that can manage it.
Connect your website
- Open Plan → Schedule and publishing → Connect or manage a website → Wix, or choose Wix during onboarding.
- Choose Connect Wix. Sign in, choose the website, and approve blog and media access.
- When you return, choose Choose author. Select the author of one of your existing posts.
- Choose your Wix connection as the publishing destination. Start with draft delivery to check your site's layout.
Connecting does not publish anything or turn on autopilot. Choose your review mode and publishing schedule after the connection is ready.
Connecting an empty blog
If no author appears, open Wix Blog and save one private draft with your preferred author. You do not need to publish it. Return to outwrite.ai and choose Choose author again.
The connection remains saved while you do this. It becomes a publishing destination once you select an author.
Article formatting and images
Articles become native Wix rich content, including headings, paragraphs, bold and italic text, lists, regular tables and links. Section links are converted to Wix's heading anchors.
The selected featured image is imported into Wix Media and used as both the blog listing cover and the article hero image. Its alt text is preserved. Replacing or removing it before delivery changes the image sent to Wix.
Wix does not support every custom HTML layout. Merged table cells and unsupported embedded controls need editing before delivery. outwrite.ai preserves your original article and explains the unsupported block rather than silently removing it.
Troubleshooting

| Wix Blog unavailable | Install Wix Blog on the selected site and reconnect. |
| Authorization expired | Reconnect the same site. This does not delete existing posts. |
| Delivery is being checked | Wix may still be completing publication. outwrite.ai checks the original post before retrying, to avoid duplicates. |
| Title or URL too long | Wix limits titles to 200 characters and article slugs to 100. Shorten that field in the article. |
Disconnecting stops future deliveries. Posts already in Wix remain there.
