    Work through your assistant

Concrete MCP workflows that keep actions clear and controlled.

Start with read-only tasks, then add management permissions when you need them. Your assistant should inspect current state before changing it.

    Get a morning briefing

Ask: “Summarize upcoming articles, attention items and the latest comparable visibility results.”

The assistant can list workspaces, read the overview, inspect workspace health and read Results. It should distinguish saved findings from work that has not finished.

    Move an article

Ask: “Move this article to next Tuesday at 9 AM in our workspace timezone. Show me the change first.”

The assistant reads the current revision and schedule, previews the move and applies the confirmed proposal. Ambiguous local times need clarification. Changing pace alone does not move existing dates.

    Prepare an idea

Ask: “Add this idea as a draft-only article, then prepare a first draft.”

Scheduling and preparation are separate actions. The first returns an article ID at revision zero. Preparation queues the existing research writer and returns an operation to follow.

    Refine a saved article

Ask: “Read this draft, make the opening clearer, and show me the proposed edit without changing the sources or table.”

The assistant reads the current revision, proposes replacement HTML and applies it only when appropriate. The new revision needs current checks; it is not automatically approved.

    Report on a prompt

Ask: “Show the full saved answer and citations for this prompt, including the observation date.”

The assistant requests answer excerpts explicitly. It should not describe a citation as a recommendation unless the answer text supports it.

    Publish with separate permission

An external assistant with publishing permission can approve an eligible exact revision and request delivery under the current policy. It must inspect the article and destination first and follow the operation to its confirmed outcome.

The built-in Ask chat does not gain these publishing permissions simply because an external assistant has them.

    Read the permissions guide.
