Read the saved article and its revision first. Supply the proposed title and complete, carefully preserved HTML. Keep tables, lists, links and untouched sections intact. This creates a proposal, not a saved edit.

Working safely
For an identical retry, reuse its idempotency key. If the saved state changed, read it again and prepare a new request. An operation that is queued or running is not complete.
