Posts and featured images in your own WordPress site
The integration creates a WordPress post and uploads the selected cover to your media library. It assigns the cover as the featured image with alt text. You can replace or remove that image before delivery. Your permalink settings and theme remain in WordPress.
For self-hosted WordPress.org sites with the REST API and Application Passwords available. For a hosted WordPress.com site, use our separate WordPress.com connection.

Do I need another WordPress plugin?
The connection uses WordPress Application Passwords and the REST API. You do not need an outwrite.ai plugin. A security plugin or host can block API access, so check those settings if connection fails.
Will it change my existing pages?
Connecting does not redesign your site or rewrite existing posts. New articles go to the destination and publishing mode you select.
Can I edit posts before publishing?
Yes. Edit the article in outwrite.ai by hand or describe your changes to AI. You can also deliver a draft to WordPress for a final check.
